Reverend McGee brings a wealth of expertise in social and community activism, regional and international development, and the effective engagement of women. She has volunteered in national and international development work in the U.S. and the Dominican Republic in the Caribbean. She developed and implemented a number of educational programs for women and children. She also worked in Nigeria as an instructor of English as a Second Language and at the University of Dar-es-Salaam in Tanzania. After four years of service in Africa, Annette became a Foreign Service Officer with the U.S. Peace Corps as the stateside Country Desk Officer for East Africa, representing hundreds of Peace Corps volunteers posted in Kenya, Malawi, Tanzania/Zanzibar, and the Seychelles Islands. Annette has also worked with World Vision International as a trainer of numerous missionaries who subsequently has served on short and long-term assignments on domestic and international mission programs.
